This is a lovely base I am trying out. I'm calling it Wool Slub. It is a hand dyed, this listing is for the popular colorway called Mahogany. This colorway is a burnt orange tonal with splashes of brown.
The yarn is a very interesting character. It is a fine fingering weight yarn with large slubs/ tufts in it. It would be lovely for a shawl, ... or held double with a fingering weight for a beautiful nubby hat!
This yarn is 90/10 Superwash Merino/Nylon and is a single ply. It is 438 yards per 100 grams
All my products are dyed by me , in my home and are pet free and smoke free.
I would always suggest washing in cool water and by hand and then lay flat to dry with all wool products, even superwash ; just to help it last longer.
