I have had so much fun this year experimenting with dyeing. Where we camp in the summer there are lots of Lodgepole Pine trees. I thought it would be a fun first natural dye experiment with the bark from that tree. This is that yarn. The picture shows it as a tan, but it has some lovely golden undertones. This IS on a Superwash merino base, but it naturally dyed. Worsted Weight: This yarn is a 100% Superwash Merino wool. A worsted weight yarn, it is soft for next to skin wear. A yarn with great stitch definition. The skein is 100 grams and 181 yards. This is a popular yarn for hats and scarves but would also make a warm and squishy sweater. All my products are made in a pet and smoke free home. Dyed with professional acid dyes, light and washfast.
