I have had a wonderful time naturally dyeing wool this past year. This yarn is a lovely variegated/ tonal that moves from a soft peachy color through light and darker corals. It was dyed with lavender from my garden and then overdyed with Madder to get the variable coral colors.
A skein would be enough for a hat, mittens, fingerless gloves, slippers, you could even make a pair of socks!
This yarn is a 100% Non-superwash Merino wool. A Sport weight yarn, it is soft for next to skin wear. A yarn with great stitch definition. The skein is 100 grams and 328 yards.
I also have a 100% Superwash merino, DK weight of this colorway. It is a 4 ply yarn which measures 231 yards for 100 grams
Dyed with Lavender from the garden, light and washfast. I recommend washing knitted or crochet items by hand and dry flat. Keep in mind that these yarns are hand dyed and colors may be slightly different than the yarn color in the photos. This yarn has been dyed in a pet free and smoke free home.
