Last year, on my drive to work, I passed a small homestead farm.  Everyday, when I was driving by the owner would open the hen house and the chickens would come barreling out!  It would always make me laugh and I wanted to capture the color of that homestead.  In Colorado, these are the colors we see nearly all year.  This is a variegated colorway that is grey, brown with slight speckles of black and red (chickens).

You have your choice of yarn base:

This fingering weight yarn is 80/20 Superwash Merino/ nylon.  This is one of my favorite bases.  The extra little bit of Merino makes it very soft and slightly plumper than other sock weight yarns.  You get 400 yards for 100 grams..

The  Sport weight option:This yarn is 100% Superwash Merino, a sport weight yarn, it is soft for next to skin wear. A yarn with great stitch definition. One skein is enough for a beautiful pair of adult socks, a lovely shawl, or a baby garment. The skein is 115 grams and 401 yards.

This yarn is a 100% Superwash Merino wool. A DK weight yarn, it is soft for next to skin wear. A yarn with great stitch definition. The skein is 100 grams and 231 yards.

Worsted Weight:  This is a 100% Superwash Merino.  It is 218 yards and 100 grams.

Bulky Weight:  This is a 100% Superwash Merino with 106 yards for 100 grams.

I recommend washing knitted or crochet items by hand and dry flat. Keep in mind that these yarns are hand dyed and colors may be slightly different than the yarn color in the photos. This yarn has been dyed in a pet free and smoke free home.

All my products are made in a pet and smoke free home.
Dyed with professional acid dyes, light and washfast.
